ReadBuddies is an educational platform designed to help students in Grades 3–12 improve their reading comprehension and vocabulary through interactive practice tools.

The Platform may be used by students, parents, educators, and guardians. Children under the age of 13 may use the Platform with parental or guardian supervision and consent, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Some features of the Platform may require you to sign in using a Google account. By doing so, you allow us to access limited basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) necessary for account creation and personalization. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activities that occur under your account.

You agree to use the Platform in a manner that is lawful, respectful, and appropriate for an educational environment. You agree not to use the Platform for any illegal or harmful activities, attempt to access or interfere with data not intended for you, disrupt the functionality or security of the Platform, or use automated tools to access or interact with the Platform (e.g., bots or scrapers). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user violating these guidelines.

All content on the Platform — including reading passages, vocabulary questions, images, graphics, and software — is the property of ReadBuddies or its content providers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform’s content without express written permission.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us the right to use that input to improve our services without obligation to compensate you.

We use trusted third-party services to operate and analyze the Platform (e.g., Google Sign-In, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, MongoDB Atlas, Zoho Mail). Your use of the Platform constitutes consent to the processing of your data by these services in accordance with their privacy policies.

The Platform is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of any content or results provided. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any damages of any kind arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. We make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy or reliability of any content or results obtained through the Platform.

We may update or change features of the Platform at any time. We also reserve the right to suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform with or without notice.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or our policies.

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
